Educational Programs
Last Chance Forever believes that part of protecting our wildlife heritage is sharing with and providing education to the community. We stress the importance of common-sense conservation regarding the earth and its natural resources. We also focus on understanding the birds and how they are part of nature’s checks and balances.
We do over 200 programs a year to schools, libraries, rotary clubs, state wildlife agencies, botanical gardens, zoos, universities, museums, and a variety of public events. Presentations are either indoor or outdoor and are designed to be appropriate for all age groups.
Presentations are customized to fit the audience and space and include discussing natural history, identifying characteristics of individual species of birds, and how these birds and humans interact in our world.
“A hawk soaring in the sky, wheeling in a thermal of air above your head, an eagle sitting quietly on a limb watching the sunset, or the magnificent dive of a falcon plummeting from the heavens—inspiring images aren’t they? What if no one cared for these beautiful creatures?” – John Karger
